[T3] Fuel Cap

I use a tool that I made for holding/changing the gen belt in Sue's car.
The tool can be found in Muir's How to keep your VW alive. It works
good for turning the gas cap, as sometimes it really gets stuck on there.
I keep the tool in the car, so I can use it if I need to.

Subject: Re: [T3] Fuel Cap

I'm still using the original Fuel Tank Cap on my 1969 Square. Since I
bought the car NEW, I have never had the need to replace it.

But in the last few years, one of two things has happened:
1.)  The cork seal has gotten less pliable and made it difficult to turn
that 1/4 turn, or
2.)  I've lost a tremendous amount of hand strength.

Either way, I find difficulty removing the fuel cap.

Is there an easy fix?
