1.) Brazing the Fuel Filler Pipe sounds like a big (like you said Jim,
expen$ive) job for a small ROI. But effective. Would a thin layer of
(material?) chemical plating on the steel work?
2.) Carrying a pair of slip-joint pliers? Really? Not my style. That's
like "Putting a saddle on a sow." ;-)
If I can't
A.) smooth out the rolled edge of the Fuel Filler Pipe, or
B.) replacing the doughnut-shaped cork (?) insert, it's .....
C.) down to the workshop to fashion some sort of a smallish, torque
"multiplier". Maybe made of wood.
I enjoy "inventing", anyway.
