I was surprised it was an auto trans , I knew later it was earlier than a
73 I got my 73 around the same time the movie came out yet didn't have any
internet and had no idea about the year changes other than the early and
later style bodies. I liked the early body better mine just happened to be
on the used car area in a small ford dealership I worked at back then it
had a few dents yet was all there and no rust , I prefer a standard trans
this one just happened to be an AT and I never saw the FI before and the
price was right $650 plus I was given a 72 from U haul across the street
since I needed the wiper arms and rear bumper. I saved all the parts I
might need glad I did.
