Thankfully I don't personally know anyone, but a coworker's girlfriend 
lost her mother to it a while ago.  Her mother lived an hour or so south 
of Chicago and had been on the mend from chemotherapy after cancer 
treatment, got horribly sick with pneumonia and tested positive for 
COVID shortly before she passed. Em wasn't able to get back there from 
Portland before the end with the travel .. difficulties .. that have 
been going on lately...
