generally, Im ANTI synthetic, but I do use the Joe Gibbs DT50 with the 2056
as the builder recommends that, and it has been good with temps and
pressure.

If I recall you use synthetic oil. Perhaps that's the issue. I know many
use it yet if you really do a search even Gene Berg does not recommend it
because it may cause lower case temps but higher head temps.
