I find the easiest way to make the Front to Rear Brake Pipe is in 2 halves with a Connector somewhere  inside the car next to the Central Tunnel. It is much easier to feed and bend the 2 separate sections of Pipe where they need to go at both ends of the car. Find the final lengths needed on the straight, where they need to meet in the middle, then cut them to length and make the Flares “  in situ “.
I do not know what Tools you have to do this “ in situ “ but I bought a Sykes Picavant Hydraulic Flaring Tool when I made all new Brake Lines for my 1972 Squareback, as part of the “ Body Off “ Resto. some years ago. This Sykes Picavant is a Hand Held Flaring Tool intended for that exact purpose of making Brake Pipe Flares on the Car, rather than on the Bench. It makes far better Flares than any basic mechanical Flaring Tool as well.
Regards,
Steve

That would be a Bus line, so it's likely to be a bit long. Best to tuck the extra
under the back seat.

I'm not sure. I think the lower right corner of that vertical panel was simply
cut at an angle, leaving a triangular hole between it, the tunnel, and the
floor. It's not big, just large enough to clear the line nut.

Someone else may remember this better.

I'll check to see what I have. Some are new, some used. In that photo you
can see one of the tabs that are used to hold the line down against the floor.

Do you need the Tee that mounts to the rear end of that line?

You can certainly find something from the electronics world that will keep the
line from chafing, but the OE parts also seal around the tube, so they also
keep water out. Maybe use some standard electronic grommets plus some
caulk to seal around the tube.

To be fair, by the time you cut OE grommets to get them over the line nuts,
you'll want to seal them with something anyway.
