[T3] Steering Column Tube seal?

No part number on either side. It is about 1mm thick in the middle.
There is a lip on the front (firewall) side, a thinner section where it
meets the column, and textured.
VW exerted effort to design and make this part, it could have just been a
plain rubber collar.
I wonder if a similar part exists on any other VW model.

Any chance there's a part number on the backside? If I had that, I could
