The book by Simon Glen on the VW Type 3s is very comprehensive, and Chapter
15 deals with the Brazilian models.
It's published by Veloce publishing, ISBN 978-1-845849-52-8 and UPC
6-36847-04592-2.

I got a copy from Amazon when it was first published in 2017.. It's still
listed on amazon.co.uk for £27.79 GB as:- "The book of the Volkswagen Type
3: Concept, Design, International Production Models & Development by Simon
Glen ", and is also on Amazon.com at
https://www.amazon.com/s?k=books+by+Simon+Glen&ref=nb_sb_noss for $45.

Lots of photos make it a good book for the cold winter days coming! (well,
apart from those in warmer parts of the world!)

Buy the book now, and enjoy catching up on all the Type 3 models!

Ya know whats needed? A real good documentation of all the "creations" from
Brazil. Ive never seen one, is there are website somewhere? I wonder if
Alex Has ever put anything together on that or has a grasp on what was sold
and what combinations were created.

There were many versions of Brazilias, most based on combinations of Type
3 and Type 4 bodies and parts, but I've even seen one that was basically a
Rabbit body on a Beetle pan. Brazilia was what I was expecting when I saw
the 4 headlights, but this one lacks the Brazilia label on the back,
something all the others had. The label I can see reads VW1600, but it could
be 1800.

This one is also quite early. He calls it a 1970, but he could be completely
wrong about that. I sincerely doubt if VW do Brazil was making Type 3
engines with alternators that early, but anything's possible.

He also seems to be saying it has zero km on it.
