Unfortunately, it's only purple in the bottle. The purple dye turns out to be 
more soluble in DoT-3 & 4, so much of it is lost in the flushing, and the 
purple that remains disappears after about 6 months.

The DoT-5 specs only require it to be purple in the bottle, so the dye must 
be something that evaporates.
