If you do rapid pumping, as Dow Corning suggests, you'll get old dirty fluid
out first, followed by a slurry of mixed old and new, then a bit of somewhat
clear silicone, followed, at last, by Purple DoT-5. Then you're done.
Yes, you're much better off not getting air in the system at all.
