Im using the DT50 synth in the Squares 2056, as per the designers spec. Im
no fan of synth oils but this was specifically designed for
Air cooleds and Im happy with it, but oddly enough, it leaves a nice puddle
under it by spring time but doesn't leak a drop over the summer months.
I would think that the thicker oil in the winter would be less likely to
leak, yea, it sits, but still. that thin summer oil, especially after
shutdown I would think would leak more easily but it doesn't.
Are the laws of Physics reversed with the Synth oils?
They seem to be in force with oil pressure, the fresh oil always has a bit
poorer pressure than it does when you get a thousand miles or so on it
And the contaminates thicken it a bit.
Anybody else have their winter leaks fix themselves in the summer?
Keith
