[T3] auto starter motor

Finally got to pull apart the auto starter I got a while back, 003 911 023A
it doesn't say SR17 on it anywhere,

Do I have  T3 auto starter?

Anywho, there is a reason this stuff is on the market and this time it
wasn't the rusty loosely assembled pile of 

Unmatched parts that other core starter purchases were but this one has been
rebuilt at least twice, some doofus

Dropped the armature bending the windings, the brush holder has been loose
in the past and the brushes are worn lopsided

As well as the field windings have been worn into.

 

I think I can salvage it, but I need brushes. seems the auto starters had
brushes much larger than the standard VW starter for that extra .1 HP, is
there anywhere I can source these???
