[T3] Fan replacement for a 1967 TYPE 3

So there must have been 6 rivets, and those rivets must have been pretty
tight in the center holes of the rubber (Viton?) rings. Are the rings also snug
in their sockets? Or have they worn/aged so they are loose now?
I wonder if those rings might have started out as O-rings, flattened in the
riveting process. If so, it might be possible to buy Viton replacements.
What's the OD of the rivets and the ID of the sockets?
This thread makes me want to take a fresh look at a complete fan and hub,
just to get a better picture of the finished assembly.
