The caliper is mounted behind the wheel on the Type 3 and in front of it in
the Type 4.
I expect that's because of the type of suspension - the Type 4 has
Macpherson struts.

I sent another letter of to the supplier, as both rebuilt calipers are
missing the plates, and one of the pistons is not machined but has the step:
still has cast surface.
Adney, how much would it cost for a rebuild with caliper cores without the
plates? How much would the plates cost by themselves? Starting to regret
going the big business route and thinking I should not send my cores out.

When I do get the plates, will be sure of this. Why is there a difference?
Thank you,
Adriel
