I always find it more comfortable to have the steering wheel on the right
side!  You've definitely got it right.  People think the Brits are weird for
their (our) RHD cars, but there are a lot of countries with RHD.  Mostly,
reversing the positions works OK, but the dash-mounted wiper switch up to
'71 is very awkward.
