[T3] Rattling shifter

You could try it, and see if the rattle goes away. The rubber on the new  
one might be different, causing the rattle. If it still does it, then you can 
 put the new parts back in. The point I'm trying to get at is, is it the  
rubber coupler pads? Or is it something inside the trans, sending it's 
harmonics  up the shifter shaft. By putting the old parts back in, it'll let you 
know one  way or the other.
