[T3] FW: Progress Thanks to P.A.

Got a chance to get down South and so happened Pedro came by at about the same time.  He and Jack were a major help today, and Pedro found the turn signal switch connector was grounding to the steering housing.  That is now taken care of, but still having the same issues.  I took the advice of Jack to rewire the fuse box, and rewired part of it.  Here is how I have it per my understanding of the diagrams:

The trouble I am having in addition now is the black and the
white wire together that controls the fuel pump relay, and the head
light wiring (relay gets hot now).  Still no headlights.

Dave, thank you for the circuit diagrams: they are very useful and I used arrows on the diagram to show the path.  It really helped my understanding to the point I realized terminal 49 is to have 12 volts.  Apparently early type 3s without the flasher had power strait from the fuse box to 49.  I was able to figure out so long as there is power to terminal 49, the relay goes no mater which ones I used (stock, 35, or 36).  I belive if this was addressed, it help.  So, what is the reason?

I also checked whether I was getting power into the cluster, and I am not.  The power wire tests open, so es ist kaput.  Believe I have one in my stash, so will see later this week.  That might explain the idiot lights, but not the flashing.

Any help greatly appreciated,
Adriel
