[T3] Injector fuel hose connectors

I have nothing but the geared clamps, but I don't over tighten them so they
work fine...BUT.
I re-hosed the car in 09 when I restored it and one of the hoses where it
entered the pan started to leak, and I got thinking, ANY of the clamps you
tighten wont adapt to a hose that squished out with time, and that hose will
loosen, but the spring clamps will keep constant pressure on the connection
and adapt for a hose that shrinks or squishes out with time.

Maybe that's a better idea, now... to find all the different sizes for free
like I have with the others....

[[[When I put the new hose back on, I bought the appropriate size VW band
clamps ($3.64 each) from a VW dealer. The GEARED hose clamps don't work
well. They cut the rubber hose.]]]

Yes, the worm geared clamps can cut the hose. I don't use them. You can ask
your FLAPS for band clamps that are way cheaper than what you bought at the
dealer. My local parts dealer stocks 'em; I just had to ask!
