[T3] Clutch question

I'm not sure..... but nothing has been changed except the clutch. The  
question is, how is it possible that this same cable worked fine  
before, but with new clutch installed, is a full THREE INCHES too  
short??? This baffles me. My plan is to call him this afternoon, see  
if he's looked in the tunnel yet, and prod him for some more info,  
see if I can shed any more light on this mystery.
