That’s much less than I thought they were, I think Ill still stick with
stock but a closed loop system will be more stable and able to track
temperature better.

Depends on how much assembly you do. Being color-blind, I went for an
assembled ECU. DIY has is now for $420.

And you can either fab or buy the harness, scavenge the sensors or buy them
