[T3] Interior Heat with aftermarket exhaust system

As far as temperature, it seems to provide a constant flow of warm air. It is never hot like on other VWs. Is that how it should operate, providing a constant temperature?

The hoses. I keep spare hose in the truck. 

I will experiment with some exhaust flex hose once I gets warm again in a month. I might use a 1 1/2" and expand the ends to fit or 2" and crimp the ends to fit. No matter what I have to order the material living out here. 

I need a heater cable. No such chance of running down the road and obtaining a new one. Good thing I am going to S. CA again next week.

If the interior was complete. I would not hesitate to drive the Squareback there and back. The shake down rides of 100 plus miles have enabled the car to be fine tuned. Runs and feels solid. That is something I cannot say about most modern vehicles. Some new cars are an exception and are solid, at a cost.
