I put a set of Nexen tires on my 67 type 3 with good success, they
were round, easily balanced and did not go out of shape after a long
high speed run like many budget tires. However I don't think our
size is being made by them any more, so if you see stock somewhere it
might be a good idea to grab them while you can.
I understand that the Nexen company was bought by Wongmart, I mean
Walmart, and they immediately discontinued all the "lower demand" sizes.
