In Keith's post Searching for Tires, he said:

"J.Jonik doesn't say where he lives?"

Idea: Would putting our city/state location in our "CLOSING" signature,
help our regional bias' (not a bad thing, guys & gals) comments? It may
even help the reader understand the posters comments, better. And isn't
that the reason for the Type 3 List? Help?

Our posts are not a business letter, as such, but paragraphs, spelling,
punctuation does help with readability and understanding.

For instance, a person in a state where road salt/sand is used in the
winter, may face "rust" problems that an "inland" person in a southern
state, doesn't. Conversely, a person who's car is stored/driven within
several miles of salt water, may face other "rust" problems, and a car in,
say Georgia, may not be concerned with salt, at all.

Is there a downside in identifying city/state location?

OK ... I've stored my soapbox for today.
