[T3] 1 month from yesterday!!!

Seen on British TV, a motorway (freeway) totally stationery in all three
lanes. A police car comes along the hard shoulder (emergency lane?) and
stops by a driver who is using his mobile (cell) phone and threatens to book
him (give him a ticket). In the UK it is illegal to use a mobile (cell)
phone when driving - including when the car is stationery in a traffic jam
if the engine is running. Not all police (cops) are as stupid as that,
are they?

I hope you realize that the only way this could have happened is that you
didn't get the tab inserted correctly when you installed the points. That
tab will never jump out on its own.

So, in the same area where you were stopped on the side of the road,
2 other cars stopped and blocked 2 out of 3 traffic lanes? Wow, there's no
shortage of stupidity in the driving public.

A year ago I watched a car drive halfway thru an I-Pass toll area before
realizing he didn't have an I-Pass transponder. So he slammed on his brakes
and stopped in the middle of the fast lane on the freeway. That was on the
freeway, in the Chicago area.

Later that night, we witnessed a minor accident on the freeway, followed by
a half dozen people getting out of the car in the middle lane and then
wandering around in the traffic lanes, engrossed in their cell phones, IN
THE DARK!!!
