Rubber bushings are designed to "squirm" internally. If you do 
anything that might let them slide on the outside they will wear out 
quickly. Silicone won't react poorly with the rubber, but it will 
keep the bushing from working properly and make it destroy itself.

Sounds great, but I've not seen that one here. Did I miss it?
