It bears repeating that water than gets behind the upper parts of the
windscreen seal forms a column of water behind the seal and builds up quite
a pressure at the bottom, which forces it over the body screen sill as well
as round the glass and causes leaks into the inside.  

So it's important to get behind the seal all the way round, next to the body
and around the glass.  Some of the fluid 'leak-finder' products are better
at doing this than the thick sealants, which are more suitable for sealing
voids and cracks.

Dave is this just for as you guys across the pond say the windscreen or is
should we do this for the quarter and back glass too?
