Your machine shop must have stamped those numbers on there, so go by 
what they said. From the factory, the rods and caps have 3-digit 
numbers on them so you can match up mating parts. Other than that, 
there's no difference between rods, and there's no reason to put one 
rod in a particular place on the engine.

What work did the machine shop do?
