I've never had a problem with THAT part; the problem is usually in 
the larger end that screws onto the reservoir. If you're actually 
getting leaks at the tire valve fitting, can you use some soapy water 
or spit to tell exactly where it is leaking?  

My first thought is that you may not have the little outer bit of 
rubber sleeving that fits around the rubber tube to provide more 
pressure to force that part to seal. Is that short bit of sleeve 
there?  

Is there any chance that the male threaded end of the Schrader valve 
is damaged, so that a seal is not possible?
