Good to have you back!
The wire gauge you need is the same or bigger than what your replacing, our
harness' use several sizes.

I don't soak anything in marvel, I use it to loosen the carbon at the bottom
of the valves, you shouldn't need to do anything with rings and carbon if
the car hasn't been running way too rich for a long time. I let it sit
under the valves for a day or 2.

Keith

Apparently this message didn't go though, so hopefully this time it does.

I am hopefully done with taking care of family and can get back to getting
to living and taking care of my life. Plus, there has been some changes to
my classes so hopefully will have weekends available again. It has been too
painful to read the List as miss the Squareback.

Speaking of which, cleaned her out and turned on the ignition (also
accidentally bumped the starter). The Volvo is gone, so need to get the
Squareback drivable as secondary transportation. Plus, need to do major A/C
work on the Mercedes (condenser got bent, N.L.A., so have to fabricate a
parallel flow condenser in). Love to be primary, but with the rust and the
sagging rear that is brand new, I don't trust it on the freeway with all
those snow birds! I no longer have my living expenses paid for and not
finding work, so this is going to be down and dirty get her on the road.
What is the plan this semester is drive to the light rail station about five
miles away and take take the rail into A.S.U.; far too expensive now that I
am on my own! Plus, those students aren't the best drivers and hard on the
vehicles parked next to them.

So do I need to get new tires because of flat spots? I don't see any crazing
on at least two. I do have one that the valve stem went and deflated the
tire, wrecking it. Also, I seem to be missing my spare tire. Not sure how
that happened! It is frustrating because I have at least a couple tires and
at least four type 3 rims at Oma's.

Dash lights not on would be wiring, right?

Which brings up the next question. What is a good gauge wire to have around?
I need to make a harness for the fuel pump and other things, including
possibly the Mercedes. Used to have a couple sizes, but apparently ran out
and/or lost.

I am also going to pick up some Marvel Mystery and soak the rings. Any idea
on how long it should sit?

I do need to get a new fuel pump as used keep having issues despite being
rebuilt. I do have the relay clicks, so feel it shouldn't be astronomically
hard to get her back on the road. However, nothing in life is easy or goes
as planned! ;p

Thank you so very much!
Adriel
