[T3] Southern dis-Comfort

I will echo the two comments about the recent southern weather, but I really
can't complain. Being retired, Peg and I just watched all the chaos on TV
two weeks ago and we will do the same this week if there is not a power
outage from the ice build up on Wednesday.

If I have power, I will probably spend some of the next three days in the
garage preparing my T3 for the Invasion after I make sure my gas logs in the
fireplace are in working order. It is suppose to reach the high 50's by
Sunday, so if the ice has melted I will probably drive one of my VWs to
church. I do this on a regular basis during the winter because of the
absence of complaints from my spouse about the lack of A/C.

While this winter has been unusually cold for us in Wisconsin, it's
something we're used to and prepared for. I hear complaining from
Dennis down south, but we haven't heard anything from Marion in
Georgia.

What's it been like down there? Ice storms? Frozen pipes? Power
outages? No telephone?

For us, it's just potholes, frozen water mains, and the comforting
sound of the snowplow driving by at 5 AM.
