"Adam, since it's been the same exact thing, if it's exact, through 3 diff
dizzys, maybe it's the NEW carbs/jets?!?! Has that portion been ruled
out/verifed working correctly. Are they brand new or were they working on
another T3/VW before hand. Carb Jets can cause your problem descrip, from
what I've heard.

Just shooting out some ideas."

Thanks for throwing it out there. That is the reason we are talking about
tuning with an LM1: so that we can rule out the carb tune. Along those
lines, I have asked 3 reputable Dellorto people what tune they would
recommend for my car, with my setup, at my elevation, and they all three
recommended the jet/venturi/tune that I have in it now. That does not mean
they are all right, but I would assume that they are.

I also had this same issue when I had the Dell 40's on before. The switch
to 36's was to try and cure this problem. That is why I have moved on to
other things. I am 80% confident that the carbs are right, but I will not
know for sure till I get an LM1 on to see what is going on fuel wise at low
RPM.

With the Dell 40's, 28mm venturi, 180 airs, 115 mains...I switched between
50, 55 and 60 idle jets. None of it helped. I am running the the 36's now
with 28mm venturi, 180 air, 115 mains and 55 idles. If this sounds off to
anyone, please let me know. Glenn in town, someone reputable at the
shoptalk forum and David at Blackline Racing all recommended that
jet/venturi combo when told about my car.

Again, I appreciate you throwing it out there. I think the Carb area is
covered. If anyone sees differently, please let me know. Once I get the LM1
hooked up I will see exactly what is going on.
