In addition, you want to dump the oil and clean out the strainer, flush out
the fuel tank and replace the bypass hose and strainer filter if bad. pull
the plug off the trigger contacts and crank the engine till the oil cooler
fills and you have oil pressure, some suggest doing this with the spark
plugs out. Then plug in the trigger points and disconnect the points from
the ignition coil and crank till you have fuel pressure, and make sure all
the injectors are not leaking before you try and start the car, some of the
injectors are likely to leak.

Replace All the 20+ feet of original fuel line with the cloth covering as it
will pinhole leak badly now. I used 20+ feet of 5/16" reinforced rubber
Gates etc & 30+ new clamps. Then put a good battery in it and get it
started.

Mike and Keith are both right and I have firsthand experience on trying to
make injectors that have been sitting around that long work. My car hadn't
seen the road in over 20 years at that point and had been running a carb
those last years it was on the road. The FI system I used came off a car
that had been setting around for 30 years. With a just rebuilt engine we had
just put in it we hit the starter and she fired up immediately on the first
try I was so excited till about 10 seconds later when I heard my students
scream shut it off! When I did I went to the back where there was a huge
puddle of gas on the shop floor under the engine. This is what one of the
injectors looked like when fuel pressure hit it.

I had to just replace all 4 injectors after that.
