[T3] Sputtering and Bogging Down

If the overflow hose is so messed up and not providing a seal - I'll bet
there is a ton of smutz in the fuel tank.

Is there so much smutz in there that it's plugging the internal fuel sock so
that it won't allow increased draw of fuel at the top of the rpm range?

 

Remove the fuel gauge sender and then shine a flashlight straight down into
the tank. You'll see the sock filter right there. Check it out for smutz!
