As I've tried to explain: If you have a separate damper and tailpipe, 
you have the early muffler, not the '72-3 muffler. There's nothing 
wrong with putting that on a late car and it will work just fine.   

Here are all the part numbers:

early ('66-71) muffler: 341 251 061B
early damper: 311 251 157
early tailpipe: 311 251 185*

late ('72-3) muffler: 311 251 061F
late combined damper/tailpipe: 311 251 153F

* this is the 90 degree part you're looking for

I believe I have ALL Type 3 exhaust parts IN STOCK!
