Jim and Mike,

I have uploaded another group of pictures I got tonight. From what I can
see, it has issues, but it looks like a nice survivor with opportunities to
make it better. It is also not so nice that I feel bad driving it.

In all honesty, I don't see a lot of issues that POR-15, in the hidden
spots, and a little elbow grease couldn't fix. There are some rust issues
that I will have to take the fenders and side panels off for. That is not a
job I am not up for.The engine cover / trunk area could use a complete
replacement. That could be a project, but it is not something that cannot
be done.

I am a bit scared to take the panels off and find rot. I know first hand
that these cars rust inside out. I had to chop up a 69 squareback because
it was too far gone about a year ago. Someone had decided that "repairing
the rust issues" meant spraying foam filler in every possible spot. This
only gave the water a place to hide while it TRULY rotted from the inside
out. I just don't see that here.

Let me know what you guys see.

As far as the odometer reading 77777, I asked him. He and his 9 year old
son drove around until they hit that spot and pulled over for pictures. The
car currently has 78,500 miles on it.
