Hi Steve,

I've just fitted a type 4 conversion muffler to my 1966 fast back (with a stock motor).

Original mufflers are almost non existent here in Australia and an availble second hand item was old and very used at half the price of the conversion!

The fitting was straight forward and the new muffler made the motor more happier. The unit is very well made, similar to the 25 year muffler I have on my T25 van so I am expecting a long service life.

Of course the vintage speed system is of a very high standard so at a higher price it might be a good alternative for some type 3 owners. 
Would very much like any other opinions from owner who have also used this type 4 conversion!
