That sounds perfectly Normal, it should hold for an hour or 2 till the
engine cools down then slowly leak out.

I ran my engine to set the fuel pressure and it held 18 PSI for 3 1/2 hours 
yet the next morning it was down to zero which is what I expected to see. 
Seems as if the check valve in the pump is not holding and I'm hoping it 
will last until I can at least get a airtek of similar then send my original

to Jim . It all just depends on funds it does at least hold for 3 1/2 hours 
maybe longer I only had time to check it after that amount of time . I can't

say if the regulator would also allow pressure to leak down and as far as I 
know the only way to tell is build pressure and use a fuel line clamp that 
pinches the line like the ones used to change the filter . I have 4 or them 
. Pinch off the pressure line and see and then if it holds the pump may be 
it , if not same thing only the line before the regulator to see if that 
lets the pressure bleed down.
