I wonder if we had multiple problems going on at once…..the bad spark plug wire, a failing brain, fouled spark plugs, and a weak connection at the trigger points.

It’s funny you should mention this. Just prior to removing the connectors from the plug I recalled your example and advice from last summer when we tightened up the MPS connectors in your driveway:  test fit the connectors on the pins before putting them back in to the connector. And would you believe that in the end we forgot to do it??? Is it worth going back and checking or should we see if we’re still “symptomatic” first?

I really hope we’re finished…..We’ll have more test-driving time tomorrow and Tuesday and that’ll be helpful in determining if there are any lingering issues. Past experience suggests we’re not out of the proverbial woods yet.
