[T3] my long term issue have to unplug TS1 for a smooth idle.

The MPS that was on my 73 when I got it was a 106 . It was screwed together
had the black cap and the adjustment screw was slotted and it still had the
epoxy to prevent one from adjusting it. Yet the ECU was the 048. I worked
fine for years and I had the D map tied next to it and at that time the
idle and running acted the same and that was on a 600 mile round trip. That
was 1991 we still had leaded fuel here. I didn't know a thing about part
numbers I had no internet they just looked the same. The 106 looked like
someone had it apart because two of the screws were stripped and it looked
old and I could just pull off the black cap. It was like they used two to
make one. It still had the VW number 311 906 051 E and the Bosch # ending
in 106.
