Jim,I don't know if you have their number or not, but WayOut Auto salvage has some type 3's. Mostly SqBk and FsBk, and I don't know what years, but they may be worth a call. Their number is 1 479 665-4126. They only work 1/2 days on Friday.

part number is 311 611 067. These were used on Notches and Type 34s,
VINs 76,300 to 221,974, which is all of MY '63 except for the first ~1000
cars. Type 3s came with 4 different generations of rear backing plates and
wheel cylinders; this is the 2nd generation. Generation 4 covers all Type 3s
'66-on, plus '65 Notches and Ghias.
I only need the steel castings, but complete or incomplete cylinders are fine.
I don't care about condition. Good smooth bores would be nice, but if I have
to sleeve them, I will. I'm hoping that one of you has, or had, a parts car in
that VIN range. Please email me with a price, and the condition, if you have
a pair.
I need them because I screwed up and didn't realize that early rears were
different. In the process of rebuilding his brake parts, I sent a customer some
late cylinders to replace his early ones that were pitted, without noticing that
there were some small, but important, differences. Then I foolishly recycled
the old cylinders. Now I need a correct pair to get him going again. He's
trying to keep his Notch original and I don't want to be the one who ruined
that effort.
ISP shows this part, but lists it as out of stock. I'll check with them, but I'm
not too hopeful. Lots of places show the C version, which works for all the
later years, but doesn't work with the other '63 parts.
thanks,
