[T3] Warmest head day?

After driving around in various temps this year it appears that the hottest
head day is when the outside temp is about 50F.  Below that the thermostat
takes longer to open but they don't get as hot, above that and the
thermostat opens before they get that hot.

 

At 50, the temps wander up to about 345 in 4 miles, sit there for a mile or
2, then back off to 325 as the thermostat starts to open but its about 7
miles before it really opens and temps come down to the 270's quickly as
airflow gets going.

 

This is with a T4 motor, so your results may vary, but Ill bet they are
similar on the T3 as it's the same idea anyway.
