[T3] Fastback Engine Issue

Anything is possible, but this seems unlikely if your condensor was a Bosch
condensor. For the record, I've never seen nor heard of a Bosch condensor
that had failed. All my cars have old, original Bosch condensors running in
them.

I can't say the same for modern condensors sold by Bosch. I've seen a
number of them that were gold colored and appear to have been made by
someone else and packaged in a Bosch box. The old OE Bosch condensors
were silver colored and had the Bosch logo and 10-digit part number
stamped on the end.

Nevertheless, I hope you've found and fixed your problem.
