I don’t have the Mark 10 on the Notch, its just stock Kettering system. I
don’t put all that many miles on it but yea, I probably should upgrade...
maybe that will be the project for next spring
Or ill buy one off you at the invasion next summer. I do still have the one
I bought from you on the Square, that works great and since you cant get the
good ventilated lubripoints anymore its
Nice to get many more miles out of them. Im sold on the Mark 10 too!

Keith

Do you have a CDI (Capacitive Discharge Ignition) on that engine? That would
slow down both plug and point wear immensely. If you don't have one, I have
quite a good stock of CDIs I have tested and burned in, both the original
Delta Mark 10s and Mark 10Bs.

I have them on all my drivers that came with Kettering ignitions. Built my
first in about 1966 and never looked back. That first one went on my Dad's
1960 Corvair, a couple years before I bought my first Square. That CDI
eventually transferred to that '68 Square, and lived there until about 1979,
when I sold that car and lost that particular CDI.

Since then I've built others and bought, repaired, and sold more. I'm
completely sold on them. They're not snake oil. They won't fix problems with
bad ignition parts, but on a good system, they work great and get incredible
life out of plugs and points. I've been using them for about 60 years and
have only had two failures in all that time. Both were rather easily fixed.
