[T3] 2026 Invasion Updates...

Keith,
I understand that this is a fresh rebuild. So what was changed? From your
previous emails, I'm guessing that you got a new 4th gear set and maybe
new syncros. The other thing that changed is the assembly.
All the other parts are the same, but they are just a bit more worn now. It
seems unlikely that this tiny bit of extra wear pushed things over the edge,
but it's still slightly possible. If there's wear in the 3-4 shift fork detent, that
could also do it, but I don't expect those parts to wear.
There are 3 lugs that hold things in position. They are pushed outwards by a
spring. I suppose the spring could be weak or bent, or the lugs could be
worn, or the thing they lock into could be worn. I'm now past my level of
understanding. I should look at some of those parts again. Should I bring
some to the Invasion?
The other thing is the assembly. If the 3-4 shift fork is slightly misadjusted,
that would do it. That has to be redone on each reassembly.
