[T3] bleeding brakes question

I like the simplicity of this strategy.

Recently, I had to replace a short piece of brake hose between the reservoir
and the hard line that feeds into the MC. So, I had to drain the reservoir.

Will I need to bleed the whole system? I've been driving "gingerly", and
the pedal is still hard. It's been a couple of weeks. I'm expecting the
pedal to go to the floor, but it hasn't happened yet...............

Explanation?
Thanks
