[T3] Child seats in a Square

My three kids (ages 1, 3, and 5) have always ridden in my squareback,
whether with infant car seats or booster seats. One has to ride in
the front, which I believe is legal here in TX as long as there is
not a passenger airbag. Car seats and booster seats in the back had
to be used with lap belts only. Since that is all the car was
originally equipped with, it is legal (in TX anyway), as they can't
prevent you from transporting your kids in your own vehicle just
because the original equipment doesn't meet current standards. Until
a few months ago, that car was my wife's daily driver, and that was
the only way for them to get around.
