Thanks for the advice Bob! Is re-bushing the shafts something that
requires precision equipment? The bushings are not part of the rebuild
kit, are they? On a 5 point scale, where does it stand in terms of
difficulty where 5 can be pretty difficult for the average owner?

Jose,the carb kits come with instructions that cover most of it. The
throttle shafts should be bre-bushed, but that's something you have to
do prior
to rebuilding. About the only advice I can give, is to re-use your
existing
needle and seat valves, as the kits cause problems.
