well monday night got a flat in the right rear, sidewall blew out on an
on-ramp. Replaced the tires at Big O on Tuesday, took it for a ride and it
cut out. loose wires to the solenoid. had batteries checked, one wouldn't
take a charge, other was dead. killed both and got a new one under
warranty. removed the extra wiring and went back to one battery, checked
valves nothing there but a slight tightening of the #4 exhaust, not event
enough to adjust. made sure to eyeball tdc 1 with a mirror lined up the
rotor and had replaced the controversial plugs already a week earlier. Took
the opportunity to replace the rear shocks. Everything lined up put the
belt back on it, cap and rotor and lit it right up. continued commuting on
wed and thursday, noticing that it's taking 2-4 turns now to light it right
up, and it stumbles on acceleration from a stop. it doesn't stall but the
idle is not completely smooth but fumbling a bit. I'm going to get out the
timing gun and confirm I'm at 0 degrees. I'm looking for a fuel delivery or
ignition problem, correct?
