Kicking myself. I should have bought the SDVA when I started the project and they were available. Guess I will keep my eyes out for one. It is hard to decipher exactly (good/bad/country of mfg.) what some of the vendors are selling online. I never thought to check what distributor was in the block until I put it all together and drove it. Wishful thinking it would be correct and actually perform. It is set up dead on as far as idle and max-advance rpm and is still a slug. At least I can drive slow and enjoy the ride.
