I've never done any, but I'm sure I've read how to do it. There's something 
special about the direction they need to move. Do they press out TOWARD 
the center of the door, or is that how they press IN?

I believe there's a special VW tool to do the pressing, so you don't end up 
putting any stress on where the hinge anchors to the door. You don't want to 
just start hammering on them.
